Season 2023: A Red Thread. Textile Paths in Art

Textiles run like the proverbial red thread through Daniel Spoerri's life - in his works as well as in his private collection of special fabrics from throughout the world, blankets and towels. 

With this season's exhibition »Ausstellungshaus Spoerri« gives an insight into the astonishing variety of textile art: sewn plants, embroidered interiors, carpet pictures, crochet dishes, cross-stitches on a plastic bag, knitted architecture, sewn writing, yesteryear clothing, idiosyncratic figures and a variety of flags.
